Samsung forced GOS to cover up for their cost cutting minimum cooling system since the hardware can't handle heat very well. TLDR: Samsung didn't put GOS to give us longer battery life. If people support a company pulling this shady move, then we probably deserve it. It's like you bought a power supply for your pc, saying 1200W, but oops, for your safety, you can only use up to 600W! It doesn't let you use the power above that, it's a dirty lie. I want my phone to use its full potential. It's just as powerful as Galaxy S9! Why did I even buy this $1200 flagship phone then. Don't be effing shady Samsung, I don't want my phone to only be able to use 30% of its power. GOS can save battery? Great, but give us choice to turn it off. When you see benchmark, you expect the phone to behave the same way when you use the phone. When you are expected to experience fast, high resolution, high frame games from newest gen Snapdraong 8 Gen 1 chip, you only get 200-300hz clock instead of 800-1000hz. Basically Samsung is passing the cost on us(it's us who gets hit by it) by limiting use of its full potential AP so they can save money by cutting the cost of making their S22 series. The issue is they've been cost cutting for their flagship phone(smallest vapor chamber compare to other manufacturers), tried control the heat with their software without giving us choice to turn it off or on, which was not mentioned even, and you get hit by up to -50% or even more performance drop.
